Project management for the shoreline restoration along Fraser River with Musqueam Indian Band and VFPA

The project site is located along the North Arm Jetty of the Fraser River adjacent to reserve land owned by the Musqueam Indian Band, which is approximately 1.5 km upstream from the proposed Point Grey East Booming Grounds site. Musqueam and VFPA have identified the foreshore area as a potential restoration opportunity as part of the Habitat Enhancement Program.

The project objective is to restore 150m of shoreline to enhance bank protection and revive the Fraser River foreshore. It also includes the demo or remediation of the existing pier, and riparian habitat enhancements in Musqueam Creek.
