Construction project management for a communications test site and tower

This project consists of the conversion of an existing woodshop within the 50 Pemberton Avenue building to a testing and commissioning site for bridge equipment and the construction of an exterior communications tower to test communications and navigation systems.

In support of Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy, this new facility will allow Seaspan’s shipyard to test and commission a vessel’s bridge – a service that was previously outsourced. The facility is designed to be flexible with a raised access floor to change with each new vessel under construction.
