Project management for 70-story tower development

On behalf of W.P.J. McCarthy and Company, Core is currently providing project management services for the 5000 Kingsway Plaza Development.

The 3.85-acre site will be developed as four phases over several decades with an ultimate density on site of approximately 2 million square feet. Phase 1 is the northwest corner of the site with street frontages on Nelson and Kingsway. The Phase 1 project will consist of the following key components:

The 70-storey tower will consist of over 160,000 sqft of retail and commercial space, 170,000 sqft of office space and over 460,000 sqft of residential space. The building will provide extensive community amenities including a daycare, full size basketball court, public art gallery, brew hall, bowling alley and access to over 1 acre of green space on the tiered podium.
