BCRTC Expo Line Traction Power Replacement

Core is currently providing project management services on the Expo Line Phase 1 traction power upgrade project for TransLink & British Columbia Rapid Transit. The $20m project will retrofit new AC/DC switchgear equipment on the existing Propulsion Power System (PPS).

At the same time the project will also upgrade the existing AARU resistors, AARU controllers, and DC grounding panels in all 15 PPSs along the Expo Line. The project has been phased to ensure the system can remain operational during the installation work.
