Family Healing Centre

On behalf of the Carrier Sekani Family Services, Core is providing project management services for the new Family Healing Centre Project, located on a remote location on Tachick Lake, in the Saik’uz First Nation.

The Family Healing Centre project will provide detox treatment and second-stage recovery. The facility will include an administration building, a detox centre, a therapy building, residential building, a workshop, and a greenhouse all on one site.

Infrastructure work will also be completed as part of the project, including new water wells, creation of a new sewage lagoon, and road upgrades. Construction started in early 2023 and is expected to be complete by late 2024.
