Core was brought on to this project by the City of Burnaby late in the construction process, to focus on schedule assessment, risk mitigation, and associated reporting to assist in expediting the project close-out.
This innovative facility will consist of an 8,500 sq. m (92,000 sq. ft.) arena that will accommodate ice sports as well as lacrosse, ball hockey, inline hockey, community events and city-run programs. Located at 10th Ave and 18th St, the facility will include: two NHL-sized rinks, a concession and skate shop, meeting and multi-purpose rooms, warm-side arena viewing, and an outdoor rooftop patio.
